So . . . . I had a meeting with a customer about a year ago in Ashburn. How sad is it that I had to Mapquest directions and was completely discombobulated when I arrived . . . only to turn around and see our alma mater. Lost in my hometown, what a surreal feeling. Hope everyone is doing well.
Ok...so I have been checking this forum just about everyday, because I keep checking this website just about everyday. I have been waiting and waiting for someone else to chime in about what's been going on out there, so I guess I will! I wasn't able to get back to the good 'ole south for a long time, that is until about 5 years ago when my dad retired. I made a valiant effort to show my husband and kids that I wasn't lying all these years and I REALLY did go to school in the country. We stopped by my old townhouse and visited with an old neighbor who laughed at me for thinking I would be able to prove this. After driving by about a million subdivisions (with Jack Lawlor Realty signs posted everywhere) I finally found my way to "Cornfield High". What a change! I don't think I could find it again if I tried!!
Hey all. Good to see the site picking up a little activity. I just recently updated mine with some pictures. (Finally).
If you are bored and you want to laugh at me poking fun at myself. Check my profile since several of you are a significant part of the memories I recounted.
I hope you are all doing well! Looking forward to seeing you.
"Fort Myers therapist arrested in Internet sex sting"
Does anyone remember Dr. Charles Jackson Friedlander?
He was one of the Guidance Counselors at Broad Run.
I remember him for his colorful suits and feminine manor.
Apparently, he has been living in Florida for some time
working as a Therapist. They caught him trying to
"buy" two boys for the purpose of sexual abuse. One
news cast says detectives found items in his car leading
them to believe he intended to harm the minors.
Why do these things happen?

Stan Wruk sent me an email saying that several people from this class worked for him at one time or another. He would love to hear from those people. His email address is beachpod@aol.com.
Hey kids -- I dug up some pix from the 11th reunion in 1999 and just put them up on my page in Facebook. Go check 'em out, and help me out with tagging anyone I missed!
I posted a clip from the Winchester Star
on Stacey Lawson. I remember talking to
her during school lunch and enjoying her
wry humor. She was rather popular and
had a "down to earth" side. She fit right
in at cornfield high.
